OmniPing Pro is a program that will find all the static addressed PCs in a network.
This program allows the users to scan all the used IP numbers in a range, specifying the begin and end addresses. Then, it will list all the successful pings, indicating the IP address, the DNS Name assigned to that address and how many milliseconds took the program to ping that address. The user can choose between four timeout options. It is better to set a larger amount of time to enhance detection in slower networks. It is also possible to select between three packet sizes. The found IPs can be saved into a database, that the program can use, if you want, just to ping those addresses in the future. It is also possible to schedule pings to be made periodically, or at a given time. OmniPing Pro can generate reports, and you can choose if you want it to display just three columns of IP addresses, one column with DNS Name, or a comma delimited file showing the used or free IP addresses. The users can configure the program to run minimized, and to start the scanning from the IP address from the computer where the program is installed.
